You can request repeat medications by one of the following methods :

Please note: that only medications on your repeat form can be issued. If you add a message to your medication request that requires a reply by e-mail be sure to add your e-mail address within your message.
If you are seen in a consultant clinic at the hospital and the doctor thinks that you should start treatment immediately the medication will be prescribed and dispensed by the hospital for 14 days.
If your consultant asks your GP consider starting or continuing treatment then they should give the GP notification in adequate time including the diagnosis and drug therapy.
Information about the medication, the clinic attended and if known the name of the doctor who recommended the medication should be provided when making the request.
Once this information is received please allow 48 hours for a prescription to be issued. You do not need to book an appointment.
Patients can now make certain appointments and/or request their repeat prescriptions via this website. The present method of requesting repeat prescriptions by email will be phased out.
Patients who want to use the automated services from our website must come in person to reception, with photo ID such as a passport or driving licence, to register for an ACCESS ID. These measures are to ensure the security of your personal data.
The receptionist will generate a one-page document which will be given to you. This will contain all the details necessary for you to log on to your personal services on our website.
Once you have created an account you will be able to request repeat medication. Please note to use the on line appointments facility you will need to use a separate login.
Please note that the document can be given to the patient only, not to a representative.
Only patients of 16 years and over can use the service.

Do not have to pay NHS prescription charges if they have a valid medical exemption certificate.
