The county have organised a new campaign to increase the early reporting of abuse and to publicise a range of services to help people experiencing abuse and their families and friends.
A new helpline (0800 731 0055) has been launched with 250 champions in front-line agencies across Oxfordshire, trained to help and support victims, providing a one-stop service
A website, www.reducingtherisk.org.uk provides advice, support and help. Bus advertisements promoting the services, and new leaflets and cards are being circulated widely to libraries, children’s centres and partner organisations.
